Stained Glass at the Newark Museum with Marcia Sandmeyer Wilson

Four of us drove north to Newark NJ on the Weekend of December 4th for a two day stained glass workshop with my favorite art teacher, Marcia Sandmeyer Wilson. With irreverant humor and immense talent she inspired us to let ourselves come forward in the art.  The workshop was all about process.
I was in love with the colors of glass and wanted something that had movement and beautiful colors.
Francy was inspired by Inuit art.  And wanted to create an eye.

Elizabeth had a dragon on her mind
Sandy made this crab stained glass and the house.
And Marcia made this whimsical man.
We had a blast.  If you ever want to take an art or craft workshop - do it at the Newark Museum they have a fantastic program for adults.  The space is great, the materials provided are super and the people who run the program: Stephen McKenzie and Sue smith are wonderful!
