Fire in the Mountains surrounding Tassajara

Fires are within 2.5 to 3 miles of Tassajara today.   I do accept that fire is a natural and needed element to the ecology of these mountains, but my heart heaves seeing recent photographs of the mountains and the preparations underway to protect this beloved place.  A blog has been created to keep people appraised of the situation called "Sitting with Fire".
