The City of Angels a photo essay

Forty-four years ago I would play in this dog house with my grandfathers massive German Sheperd Valiant .   It has the look of something vintage one would find at Miss Pixie's whatnot store on 14th Street NW.  Sweet to find it here in my fathers backyard after all these years.

A few minutes after taking this photo, 30 people or so - said their goodbyes to my Uncle Johnny (he is in the casket).
The day after the funeral I went to Chinatown.  Where are all the people?  It was like a neutron bomb had been set off in downtown Los Angeles.
Oh, I see they were just in their cars.  What was I thinking!
